500 g fresh endive, torn into bite size pieces 1 lb
500 g broccoli, cut into bite size pieces 1 lb
25 ml olive oil 2 tbsp
25 ml unsalted butter 2 tbsp
2 garlic cloves, peeled & crushed
4 shallots, chopped
salt & pepper to taste
lemon wedges
In a sauce pan; heat oil and melt butter over low heat. Add shallots, garlic and cook gently for 5 minutes; do not brown. Add endive and broccoli. Toss while cooking over medium-high heat until vegetables are wilted, about 3 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve hot with lemon wedges.
