Biscuit Mix

9 cups all-purpose flour*
1 cup non-fat dry milk
1/4 cup baking powder
1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon salt
2 cups shortening

Mix flour, dry milk, baking powder and salt. Cut in shortening until particles are size of coarse cornmeal. Refrigerate in airtight container up to 1 month.

12 cups mix.

NOTE: If using self-rising flour, omit baking powder and salt.
