1 pound elbow macaroni
1 large onion chopped
1 pound hamburger OR 1/2 pound bacon
1 large can whole tomatoes
salt and pepper to taste
Cook macaroni in plenty of water until al dente. Brown onion and hamburger or bacon or both in a big iron skillet. Throw the tomatoes, salt and pepper and all the macaroni into the skillet. Simmer a few minutes.
If you want to spark it up, throw in a slab of Velveeta. Hmmmmmm.
