3/4 cups milk
3 tablespoons butter
1-1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1-1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup sugar
2 tablespoons jam (your choice)
Heat milk and butter. Add baking soda and mix. Add sifted flour then the jam. Put in a greased basin and steam 2 hours. Basin must be covered and not more than 3/4 full before cooking.
