50 ml butter 1/4 cup
3 green onions, chopped
3 large potatoes, peeled & thinly sliced
salt and pepper to taste
250 ml cheddar cheese, grated 1 cup
250 ml cornflakes 1 cup
Melt butter in small saucepan. Sauté onions until tender. Layer potatoes in small buttered casserole dish, overlapping layers. Pour butter and onions over top and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake at 400 F (200 C) for 20 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle with cheese and cornflakes. Bake an additional 10 minutes, or until potatoes are tender.
