2 lbs filleted fish
2 tablespoon margarine
2 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 onion, minced (1/2 cup)
1 carrot, grated (1/4 cup)
2 tomatoes, peeled and sliced
1/4 teaspoon thyme
1/4 teaspoon savory
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2 quarts boiling water
1 cup uncooked macaroni
Cut fish into serving pieces.
Put margarine, oil, carrots, onions, and tomatoes in large pan and simmer for 10 minutes.
Add water and macaroni and bring to a boil. Reduce heat.
Add thyme, savory and pepper. Carefully add fish and simmer for 20 minutes.
