4 cups brown sugar
1 cup paprika
2 cups Worcestershire sauce
4 cups vinegar
4 cups catsup
16 cups ( 1 gallon ) tomato juice
1/3 cup salt
1/3 cup dry mustard
1/3 cup ground cloves
3 tablespoon garlic powder
4 teaspoon chili powder
2 teaspoon red pepper
12 medium onions, grated
Mix all ingredients in a large kettle. Bring mixture slowly to a boil, then simmer for1 hour. Stirring often.
Yields about 2 gallons.
