Servings: 6 1/4 Quarts
3-1/4 quart (6 lb) sugar, granulated
2-1/2 quart water
5 3/4 quart (5 lb 12 oz) cranberries, fresh, washed, sorted
Combine sugar and water; bring to a boil; boil 5 minutes. Add cranberries; reduce heat; simmer 15 minutes or until skins burst. Stir occasionally. Skim foam from top. Pour into containers. Cover; refrigerate until ready to serve.
NOTE:
6 lb fresh cranberries A.P. will yield 5 lb 12 oz cranberries.
