8 slices bacon
250 ml onion, chopped 1 cup
250 g blanched green beans, sliced 1/2 lb
250 g blanched wax beans, sliced 1/2 lb
1 can brown beans
1 can kidney beans, drained
175 ml brown sugar, firmy packed 3/4 cup
125 ml vinegar 1/2 cup
2 ml garlic salt 1/2 tsp
2 ml dry mustard 1/2 tsp
1 ml pepper 1/8 tsp
Cut bacon into small pieces and cook until crisp. Cook onion until soft. Combine ingredients in a large casserole. Bake at 350 F (180 C) for 1 hour, uncovered. Stir mixture occasionally. Serve with hamburgers.
