500 g lean ground beef 1 lb
1 medium onion, chopped 1
1.2 L rotini pasta, uncooked 4 1/2 cup
875 ml water 3 1/2 cup
1 pasta sauce 3 cup
250 ml mushrooms, sliced 1 cup
250 ml red pepers, chopped 1 cup
250 ml cheddar or mozzarella cheese, shredded 1 cup
In a large deep skillet; saute beef. Add onions and cook until tender.
Add pasta, water and pasta sauce. Bring to boil and cover. Reduce heat to low. Simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add mushrooms and red peppers. Cook 5 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese.
