1 medium size cabbage, finely chopped
3 tablespoons cooking oil
1 teaspoon poppy seeds
1/4 teaspoon pepper powder
Grated rind of 1 lemon and 1/2 teaspoon juice extracted separately.
Salt to taste
Heat oil in a wok and add poppy seeds to it and cook for 2 minutes. Add cabbage and lemon rind and mix well. Cover and cook until cabbage is tender. Uncover and add pepper powder. Mix well and cook on medium heat until water evaporates. Put in a serving dish, mix lemon juice and serve hot.
Goes well with rice or noodles.
