This salad dressing recipe is from the King George II Inn in Bristol, Pa.
3 cup canola oil
1 cup cider vinegar
1/4 cup light brown sugar
2 diced granny smith apples
1/4 cup honey
1 shallot, minced
2 cloves garlic, minced
Sauté shallot and garlic in a trace amount of oil. Whisk in sugar and honey. Then, add apples and vinegar. Continue to whisk until emulsified. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
