Buttermilk Scones

2 cup warmed buttermilk
6 tablespoon oil
1/2 teaspoon soda
5 cup flour
2 beaten eggs
1 teaspoon salt
2 yeast cakes, dissolved in
1 cup warm water and
1/2 tablespoon sugar

Add eggs, salt, oil and 1 tablespoon sugar to buttermilk. Add yeast mixture and stir in the flour. Roll about 1/8-inch thick and cut into rounds. Fry in an inch of oil or more at 400 degrees.
