Chile Relleno Casserole

A layered casserole with green chili, cheese and egg and flour mixture poured over the top

2 cans whole green chile
1/3 lb. cheddar cheese
1/4 c. flour
1 c. milk
3 eggs
1 jar salsa
sliced monterey jack cheese

layer chile and grated cheese in an 8 x 8 casserole dish, repeat

Blend all ingredients except salsa and monterey jack cheese

Pour mixture over chile and cheddar cheese

Bake 45 minutes at 375 degrees

Remove from oven and add jack cheese slices and pour salsa over all

Bake 15 minutes more
