1/4 cup warm water
3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
3 tablespoons fish sauce or soy sauce
1 tablespoon honey
1/2 carrot, shredded as finely as possible
Makes about 1 cup.
Combine the ingredients in a mixing bowl and stir to dissolve the honey. Divide the sauce among 4 tiny bowls for serving.
