575 g lean pork, minced 1 1/4 lb
1 small onion, finely chopped
50 ml fine dry breadcrumbs 1/4 cup
250 ml cooking apples, peeled, cored & finely chopped 1 cup
1 small egg, beaten
15 ml prepared mustard 1 tbsp
Mix all ingredients together in bowl. With well-floured hands; shape mixture into 8 burgers about 1 inch (2.5 cm) thick. Cover and chill until required.
Cook on barbecue (or preheated grill) for about 10 minutes on each side until thoroughly cooked. Serve on your favourite burger bun.
