A quick braised dish for a weekday meal. Serve with steamed broccoli, rice pilaf and spinach salad.
4 pork loin chops, 3/4-inch thick
1/2 teaspoon vegetable oil
1/4 cup sliced green onion
1 tablespoon orange peel
1/4 cup orange juice
1/4 teaspoon dried basil
Heat oil in large nonstick skillet. Add pork chops and brown on one side over medium heat; turn chops and add remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer for 3 to 4 minutes. Serve immediately.
