1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1 cup all-purpose flour
3 large eggs
1/4 pound butter, melted
3 fluid ounces whiskey
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped pecans
1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
Preheat oven to 275*F.
In a small saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Beat in eggs.
In a medium bowl, sift together sugar and flour; blend in egg mixture, beat until smooth. Stir in whiskey, semisweet chocolate chips, and chopped pecans. Pour into 9-in ch pie shell, bake 15 minutes.
Raise the temperature to 300*F and bake an additional 30 minutes, or until the center is set but soft. Cool before cutting.
Makes 8 servings.
