Vegetable Beef Saute

1-1/2 lbs round steak, diced
1 garlic clove, crushed
3 tablespoons canola oil
1 small onion, chopped
2 stalks celery, diced
1 green pepper, diced
2 cups mushrooms, sliced
1 can water chestnuts, drained & chopped
1 can green beans, drained
2 tablespoons cornstarch
3 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons water
cooked noodles

In a large skillet; heat oil over medium heat. Add garlic and meat, stirring often. Cook until meat is done. Add onion, celery, pepper, mushrooms, water chestnuts and green beans. Continue cooking and stirring until vegetables are tender crisp.

In a small bowl; dissolve cornstarch with soy sauce and water. Pour over meat and vegetables, continuing to stir until gravy thickens. Serve over cooked noodles.
