500 g carrots 1 lb
20 ml butter 4 tsp
30 ml orange juice 2 tbsp
15 ml brown sugar 1 tbsp
2 ml salt 1/2 tsp
Place carrots in 1 1/2 quart (1.5 L) baking dish. Dot with butter.
In a small bowl; mix orange juice, brown sugar and salt. Pour over carrots. Cover with lid or foil. Bake in preheated 350 F (180 C) oven for 25 minutes. Remove lid, stir and bake an additional 20 minutes.
