
BASE
1/2 Cup butter
5 tablespoons cocoa
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
5 tablespoons white sugar
2 Cups graham wafer crumbs
1 Cup coconut
1/2 Cup chopped walnuts
ICING
4 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons milk (cream)
2 tablespoons vanilla pudding
2 Cups icing sugar
COVER
4 squares chocolate
1 tablespoon butter
BASE
Mix sugar, cocoa, vanilla and egg in a bowl. Stir mixture until butter is melted. It is consistency of custard. Add graham wafer crumbs, cocoanut and walnuts to cocoa mixture. Pack into ungreased 9 X 9 pan. Spread on icing.
ICING
Mix Well. Spread on base and allow to set. If desired add flavoring and fruit pieces (i.e. peanut butter, cherries, raspberries, etc.)
COVER
Cover with 4 squares chocolate and 1 tablespoon butter melted slowly in a saucepan.
