1 Whole Chicken
Salt and Pepper
1 teaspoon Oregano
2 Cloves Garlic, Minced
2 tablespoon Butter
1 cup Chicken broth (or water)
3 tablespoon Lemon Juice
Remove the giblets and neck, wash the chicken and pat it dry. Salt and Pepper the chicken and place it in a crock-pot, with the cavity opening towards the top.
Sprinkle half the Oregano and Garlic inside the cavity, and half outside. Add and Chicken broth to the crock-pot. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours. During the last hour of cooking add Lemon juice.
