1/2 cup cran-apple juice
2 tbl butter
1 large red onion, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, finely minced
4 granny smith apples, cored and cut into wedges
2 tbl sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon white pepper
Lemon Cran-Apple Sauce (follows)
frosted cranberries
lemon wedges
Saute onion and garlic in butter until onion is soft. Add turkey, cran-apple juice, apples, sugar, salt and pepper. Simmer about 5 minutes or until apples are somewhat softened but still crisp. Drain liquid and place on a platter. Top with Lemon Crab-Apple Sauce. Garnish with frosted cranberries and lemon wedges.
