Kiwi Pie

1 lb cooked lamb
1-1/2 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons flour
1 cup milk and water, (1/2 cup of each)
salt and pepper
2 teaspoons capers, chopped
1 teaspoon liquid from the capers or vinegar
Mashed potato
Mashed swede (rutabaga)
butter

Cut meat into small strips.

Melt the butter, stir in the flour then gradually add the milk and water, stir until boiling. Season with salt and add capers and liquid. Add meat and stir over gentle heat until warm. Mix the potato and swede together with a little butter. Pour meat mixture into an oven dish. Spread potato mixture on top. Dot with butter and bake at 180 C for 15 minutes or until golden and hot.
