Country Herb Butter Corn on the Cob

4 fresh basil leaves, snipped
salt & pepper to taste
4 ears of corn, shucked
175 ml unsalted butter 3/4 cup
15 ml fresh parsley, snipped 1 tbsp
5 ml fresh lime or lemon juice 1 tsp
15 ml fresh chives, snipped 1 tbsp

In a blender; combine butter, parsley, lime juice, chives and basil. Process on high until smooth.

Brush each ear of corn with a bit of butter. Place on preheated (high) BBQ grill. Cook corn, occasionally turning and brushing with butter, for approxiately 8 to 12 minutes. Remove from grill. Season with salt and pepper.

Serves 4
