1 large bunch broccoli, cut into large chunks
5 ml olive oil 1 tsp
1 small onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
50 ml raisins 1/4 cup
15 ml pine nuts, toasted 1 tbsp
In a large pot of boiling water; cook broccoli until tender crisp. Rinse with cold water to stop cooking; drain well.
Meanwhile, in a large non-stick skillet; heat oil over medium heat. Add onion and garlic. Cook gently for 5 to 8 minutes or until tender. Add raisins and pine nuts and cook for a few more minutes.
Add broccoli to skillet and toss gently. Heat thoroughly.
