2 bunches asparagus
500 g bacon slices
– fresh ground pepper –
1 lemon, sliced in wedges
Bunch 4 or 5 asparagus and wrap with one slice of bacon. Secure with a wooden toothpick. Repeat with remaining asparagus. Sprinkle with fresh ground pepper. Grill on BBQ on medium-high until bacon is cooked and asparagus is still crisp. Squeeze with lemon wedges just before serving.
