Asparagus with Dill Sauce

3/4 cup mayonnaise
1 (8 oz) container sour cream
2 green onions, chopped
1 tbsp. minced fresh dill or 1 1/2 tsp. dried dill
3 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
2 lb. fresh asparagus spears

For dill sauce combine mayonnaise, sour cream, green onions, dill, and lemon juice in a small bowl, cover and chill.

Snap tough ends from asparagus. Arrange asparagus in a steamer basket over boiling water, cover and steam 4 to 5 minutes or until crisp-tender. Arrange asparagus on a serving plate and serve with dill sauce.
