Serves 75-100
1 x 2-lb. bag yellow lima beans
1 x 1-lb. bag kidney beans
1 x l-lb. bag small white beans
1 package dry onion soup mix
5 lbs. bacon, cooked & crumbled
6 onions, chopped & sauteed
1 gallon ketchup
1/2 gallon brown sugar
1 teaspoon dry mustard
Prepare beans by adding to large kettle with water to cover beans, plus a dash of baking soda. Bring to boil, turn off heat and let sit covered for about an hour. Drain & rinse beans. Add onion soup mix and enough water to cover beans and cook until beans are tender.
Drain and add rest of ingredients.
Bake at 325 oven for 2-3 hours.
