Shish Kebabs

1 kg beef sirloin, cut into cubes 2 lb
125 ml vegetable oil 1/2 cup
125 ml lemon juice 1/2 cup
125 ml onion, finely chopped 1/2 cup
5 ml salt 1 tsp
2 ml pepper 1/2 tsp
5 ml worcestershire sauce 1 tsp
1 bay leaf
assorted vegetables cut in bite size pieces (cherry tomatoes, peppers, mushrooms)

In a small bowl, combine oil, lemon juice, onion, salt, pepper, worcestershire sauce and bay leaf. Add beef cubes. Place in plastic bag or bowl with lid. Marinate in refrigerator overnight.

Remove beef from marinade. On skewers, alternate pieces of meat with vegetables. Broil skewered meat and vegetables under broiler for about 5 minutes or until desired doneness.
