Nut Filling for 100

Yield: 7-1/2 cups

Ingredients Weights Measure
Flour, wheat, general purpose, sifted   12 ounces 3 cups
Cinnamon, ground   1-2/3 tablespoons
Sugar, granulated 1 lb 1 ounce 2-1/2 cups
Sugar, brown, packed 1 lb 3 ounces 2-1/2 cups
Butter or margarine, melted 1 lb 2 ounces 2-1/4 cups
Pecans or walnuts, chopped 12 ounces 3 cups
  1. Sift together flour and cinnamon in mixer bowl; blend in sugars.
  2. Add butter or margarine to dry ingredients; mix at low speed until well blended.
  3. Add nuts, mixing at low speed.

NOTE:

  1. This filling may be used in a variety of sweet dough products. Use about 1 tablespoon filling for each pastry. See Guide for Sweet Dough Make-Up.
