Blueberry Tea Bread

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1-1/2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
2 eggs
1 cup milk
3 tablespoon vegetable oil
Whipped cream cheese {optional}

In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Stir in blueberries. In another bowl, beat the eggs; add milk and oil. Stir into dry ingredients until just moistened. Pour into a greased loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour, or until toothpick inserted near center comes out clean. Cool in pan for 10 minutes; remove to wire rack to cool completely. Serve with whipped cream cheese, if desired.

Yield: 1 loaf
