Barbecue Ribs

Marinade:
1/2 Cup Burgundy Wine
2 Tablespoons Liquid Smoke
2 Stocks of Celery
1/2 Cup Sliced Onions
2 Teaspoons Salt
1/2 Teaspoon Pepper

Barbecue Sauce:
1 Quart Catsup
2 Tablespoons Liquid Smoke
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
2 Tablespoons Honey
1/2 Cup of Marinade

Marinade:
Put meat in heavy pan and cover with water. Then add marinade to water. Simmer for 1 hour (until tender) Be sure to save 1/2 cup of marinade for Barbecue sauce

Barbecue Sauce:
After the meat has simmered for an hour, baste the meat in the Barbecue sauce and cook the meat as you normally do. My friends and I smoked the meat for three to four hours. The Baby Backs turned out to be one of the best meals I have ever had. We were actually able to convince a few vegetarian friends to give ’em a try; they took seconds. Enjoy.
