Cream cheese frosting is a traditional topping for old-fashioned carrot cake.
3-1/2 cups powdered sugar
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons LAND O LAKES® Butter, softened
2 teaspoons vanilla
Chopped pecans, if desired
Combine all frosting ingredients except chopped pecans in small mixer bowl. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until smooth. Sprinkle with pecans, if desired.
Makes 2 1/2 cups.
