1 1/2 cups sugar
3 teaspoons powdered mustard
2 teaspoons salt
2/3 cup cider vinegar
2 cups vegetable oil
3 tablespoons poppy seeds
In a food processor or blender pulverize the sugar. Add the mustard, salt and vinegar to the sugar and mix.
With the machine running slowly add the oil to the sugar mixture.
Remove mixture from the machine and stir in the poppy seeds. Chill.
Makes 1 quart dressing.
