Potato and Sausage Casserole

6 slices bacon, diced
2 large onions, chopped
1 clove garlic, chopped
500 g pork sausages 1 lb
4 medium russet potatoes, thinly sliced
10 ml fresh savoury leaves, chopped 2 tsp
375 ml chicken stock 1 1/2 cup
salt & pepper to taste

Cook bacon in large fry pan for 3 minutes. Add onion and continue to cook for about 5 minutes. Add garlic. Mix and cook 1 minute longer. Remove mixture from pan. Brown sausages in same pan till golden brown. Arrange sliced potatoes in large greased casserole dish. Spoon onion mixture over top. Season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with savoury. Pour stock over top. Cover with sausages. Cover and bake in preheated 350 F (180 C) oven for 1 hour.
