Peach Daiquiri

2 ounces light rum (substitute vodka, perhaps)
1/2 peach, fresh, peeled or canned
1 tablespoon lime juice
1 teaspoon superfine sugar
1 cup crushed ice

Combine all ingredients in an electric blender and blend until the contents have the consistency of snow. Serve immediately in a large saucer champagne or similar glass, with short straws.
