1 tablespoon white wine Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon Italian herb seasoning
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 small onion, quartered
1 clove garlic
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
Asian Style
1/4 cup soy sauce
3 tablespoons dry sherry OR water
1 tablespoon honey
2 teaspoons grated fresh ginger root
1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
Thinly sliced scallions, garnish
Basic Recipe
Place chicken in a large, preferably non stick, pan. Pour marinade evenly over chicken breasts. Pour water directly into skillet all at once. Cover, bring to a boil over med-high heat and boil 5-7 min. Turn chicken over, reduce heat to med. and gently boil uncovered 7-8 min. until chicken is no longer pink at center (cut a small slit in thickest part to find out). Marinade will boil down to a thickened sauce. If there’s not enough to spoon over each serving, stir 2-3 tablespoons into what’s left in pan. Spoon sauce over chicken. Add garnish.
