2 cups wheat-free tamari
1 cup organic sugar
10 cloves garlic, smashed
2 tablespoons smashed ginger
1 1/2 tablespoon freshly ground black pepper
1/4 cup canola oil
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
Whisk all of the wet ingredients together, and then add the dry ingredients.
Marinate protein in a large Ziploc bag for at least 4 hours.
If using beef, marinate overnight.
