Buttermilk Doughnuts for 100  Breads  747 reads

12 egg yolks (beat until thick & creamy)
3 c. sour milk (or buttermilk)
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. melted butter
3 c. sugar
2 tsp. soda (in milk)
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
7 1/2-8 c. flour

Beat egg yolks until thick and creamy. Gradually add sugar to yolks. Combine the rest of the ingredients. Roll out. Cut. Fry in oil. Turn as soon as they come to top.
