375 ml onion, chopped 1 1/2 cup
375 ml fresh mushrooms, sliced 1 1/2 cup
125 ml carrot, thinly sliced 1/2 cup
125 ml celery, thinly sliced 1/2 cup
10 ml butter or margarine 2 tsp
750 ml cabbage, chopped 3 cup
225 g reduced fat smoked turkey sausage, sliced 1/2 lb
50 ml green peppers, chopped 1/4 cup
1 garlic clove, minced
salt & pepper to taste
250 ml cooked rice 1 cup
In a large non-stick skillet; saute onions, mushrooms, carrot and celery in butter. Add cabbage, sausage, pepper, garlic, salt and pepper to taste. Saute for 8 to 10 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Add rice and heat through.
