Mango Chutney


1 medium mango, cut into small cubes
75 ml onion, chopped 1/3 cup
50 ml raisins 1/4 cup
50 ml orange juice 1/4 cup
30 ml packed brown sugar 2 tbsp
30 ml walnuts, chopped 2 tbsp
15 ml cider vinegar 1 tbsp
10 ml jalapeno pepper, minced 2 tsp
10 ml fresh lemon juice 2 tsp
5 ml fresh ginger, peeled & minced 1 tsp
2 ml garlic, minced 1/2 tsp
2 ml lemon zest, grated 1/2 tsp
.5 ml ground mace 1/8 tsp
pinch ground cloves

In a large saucepan; add all ingredients. Bring mixture to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes or until mango is soft. Let cool before serving. Great served on grilled fish or as a spread on a chicken or turkey sandwich.
