500 g lean ground beef 1 lb
2 onions, diced
250 ml turnips, shredded 1 cup
2 carrots, shredded
375 ml cabbage, shredded 1 1/2 cup
15 ml vinegar 1 tbsp
15 ml sugar 1 tbsp
1 can tomato soup

In a dutch oven; brown meat and onions in small amount of oil. Add vegetables, vinegar and sugar; simmer until tender. Add soup and heat thoroughly. Serve with mashed potatoes.
