1 tablespoon olive oil
1 pound lean beef, cut into thin strips
2 teaspoons chili powder
1 teaspoon crushed dried oregano
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 onion, cut into thin strips
1/2 pound thinly sliced white mushrooms
2 green onions, chopped
1/2 lime, juiced
3/4 cup ORTEGA Salsa - Thick & Chunky (Medium)
1 avocado, peeled, pitted and sliced
8 corn tortillas
Heat oil over medium-high heat in large skillet. Add beef strips; brown on all sides, about 3 minutes. Add chili powder, oregano, salt and pepper to taste. Add onion and mushrooms and cook until soft, about 4 more minutes. Add green onion and lime juice. Mix well.
Serve with salsa, avocado slices and warm corn tortillas.
